Andrea Page
Andrea Page, is widely acknowledged to be one of the leading experts in the pre and postnatal fitness field. She started Fitmom seven years ago after a struggle with pregnancy weight gain, postpartum depression and a need for a fresh start. Fitmom now has locations across Canada, two highly acclaimed Fitness DVDs and many celebrity clients, including Olympic athletes, singing superstars and television hosts. Andrea is a regular expert on pre and postnatal fitness on many television shows and routinely features in national magazines. A doula, personal trainer and yoga instructor, Andrea and her team of coaches have helped thousands of women have safe and healthy pregnancies and recover their pre-baby bodies quickly after birth. Gynecologists, physicians and midwives endorse Andrea’s program. She is also serving as a consultant to the SOGC on their new guidelines on exercise during pregnancy. She is the mother of Akua (8), Isiah (4) and Moses (2).
Fiona Marshall
Fiona Marshall is a Certified Personal Trainer, Level 2 Running Coach, educator and freelance writer. She has coached national caliber athletes in several sports. Currently working on her Masters in Education, Fiona uses her background teaching to help create exercise programs and approaches to challenges that are easy to follow. Her fitness articles have been posted on countless websites and she is a regular guest on television shows. Focused on results in both fitness and childbirth education, Fiona has been helping women have the pregnancies, labours and post-baby bodies they want for several years. An avid runner, Fiona has completed many marathons, including Boston, and has a personal best time of 3:18. She is the mother of James (2.5) and Ailie (6 months).
Stephanie Nisbet
Stephanie is a certified birth Doula with DONA International, Certified Childbirth Educator, Postpartum Doula and Lactation Educator working towards IBLCE Certification. She has supported over 200 women through childbirth in her six years as a doula in Toronto. She is a member of DONA International, CAPPA and DoulaCARE and is currently working on a Postpartum course for new parents. She has a BA from University of Toronto with a major in Industrial Relations and a minor in Women’s Studies. Stephanie is the mother of three children; Joshua (8), Emily (6) and Ella (3)
Michelle Sorenson
Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Queen’s University and her Master in Education in Counselling Psychology from OISE at the University of Toronto. Michelle is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Psychological Associate to practice clinical psychology. She focuses primarily on assessment and intervention with adults and helps clients with a broad range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, coping with health concerns, family conflict, low self-esteem, trauma, stress management, and workplace concerns. Michelle has been using cognitive behavioural therapy to help clients in her private practice in Toronto for 5 years. Michelle uses a non-judgmental and collaborative approach to help people explore the beliefs, assumptions and automatic thoughts driving their emotions.
